Work/Career/Job Employment /Therapy/Volunteer Entry 14 pertaining to days leading up until Saturday October 2, 2017

First things first I am glad to mention of the volunteer opportunity that I had the chance to partake in this past Thursday October 12 2017 that was with the following organization and with feeling blessed that I am offered the stable schedule to partake in activities such as these for my professional development through my food services job at the University of Maryland College Park

I had the chance to help out some of the volunteers hand out some oranges apples, and bananas to some grade school kids and their families. The experience actually humbled me and reminded me to count my blessings as seeing so many of the kids happy just to get some fruit definitely made me think in a positive way. The volunteers I interacted with were nice to me and welcoming of my intent to contribute. One of the volunteers had the tag of sous chef on her and bravely opened up to me about her life juggling motherhood and how her biological mother passed 2 years ago on what was my birthday. Another volunteer who was polite and asked me to help carry some stuff to the van told me his name and it was interesting to know that he had a similar job and name to one of the leaders at my current job. I truthfully was surprised as I went with both my logic and intuition to randomly pick the volunteer opportunity. Obviously, I was also appreciative that I was invited back in the future to volunteer with this organization. Obviously, I intend to look at the options given to me by the website affiliated with the organization and volunteer match. As for what I have planned on this Thursday I intend to hold off until at least tomorrow or Monday before I write what I have planned.
At my job I have been working the vegan station at my University of Maryland College Park food services job and there have been some days that I enjoy the cilantro mango pineapple sushi rolls. I have also wrote down some of the food that is served on some of the days that I worked that I intend to write either here or one of my new entries this coming week. I also notice that the spinach rolls are pretty popular at the vegan station. Last, but not least fortunately I was inspired to eventually eat some sushi in my off time and luckily my sweet and handsome husband Rusty Ridler order some different types of sushi from a really fantastic sushi place in College Park Maryland today. I intend to write some of what we ate today by 1130 pm tomorrow at the latest or sooner.
I Stella Carrier intend to contribute my best to in multiple creative and self confident ways-both volunteering and my paid work at my University of Maryland College Park food services job.
