The Witch’s Night Out film involves the character of the town witch known as the Godmother wanting to recapture the glory of what made her life fun in the past. The Godmother gets her chance when she fulfills the request of two children to transform them into looking scarier than they normally appear. However, things go haywire when this happens inside her mansion and other people at her party get scared and misunderstand what she just did. To top it all off, someone makes off with the Godmother’s magic wand that she would need to transform the children back into their original selves.

Awakening by Jackie Evancho is a mixture of calming classical music with ethereal vocals. The tracks embody a peaceful tune and melodies such as Made To Dream put me in a hopeful mood (the vocals and the music are well-time together in the Made To Dream song, yet there are also other songs on Awakening that are also enjoyable to listen to).

I preface this review by making clear that I am writing for free on Amazon and as a way of helping me to understand various facets of life (although I have been confused for a paid reviewer in the past). With that out of the way, this kindlebook of 1,000 Creative Writing Prompts; Ideas For Blogs, Scripts, Stories and More by Bryan Cohen is a multi-faceted kindlebook to get whether a person is writing for creative writing therapy andor as a writer who aims to be published. Some of the writing prompts featured; birthdays, spring season, shining school achievement, college prompts (such as a class that changed your life), creative writing travel prompts (such as describing the best vacation you have been on and much more prompts available in this kindlebook). For me, having the creative writing prompts from this kindlebook by Bryan Cohen help remind of the vital advice given in Creative Writing by Simeon Lindstrom for a writer to broaden their creativity through the use of books, movies, and music that they normally would not view andor listen to.

After spotting it in my Amazon recommendations, I decided to take a chance on getting this kindlebook of Writer’s Market 2017: The Most Trusted Guide to Getting Published by Robert Lee Brewer due to my own writing goals. I’m fully aware of how competitive the writing field is (regardless of whether or not a person is writing as a side job). Additionally, I was determined to find supportive andor informative resources of my writing goals and fortunately I unexpectedly found some of the following constructive sources in this book; funds for writers 101 (some non-traditional ways of searching for writing options), ways to choose a writing conference/writing workshops, connecting with book clubs, contact information on various places for a person to submit their writing (company’s e-mail, phone number, website address etc. on a place such as the Creative Media Agency, Inc.)

This review is from: Voices (MP3 Music)
This music compilation of Voices The First Ladies of Trance; 14 Cutting Edge Vocal Dance Hits touches a musical cord within me due to the bold nature of some of these songs. For example, the songs Everyday 2002 (Alex Gold 7 Radio Edit) and Ecstasy by ATB seems to touch on romantic themes with the a push the envelope type of vibe because of the lyrics. The 14 tracks on this collection imbue an exciting and carefree club music vibe.

The First Ladies of Trance is a good musical set to listen to if you like club or trance. Each song flows seamlessly together and contains various artists on these 20 tracks. Obviously, the favorite tracks part is going to differ from person to person. However, I would have to admit that the song Show Me The Way by Allure feat. Jes is one of the tracks that stands out to me on this collection because of the vocals and music encasing the message.

This Rogue One; A Star Wars Story Soundtrack starts out triumphantly with the first track (He’s Here For Us) and ends methodically with the last track (Guardians of the Whills Suite). The cd jacket has various pictures from the latest Rogue One A Star Wars Story film. I admit that my husband and I watched and enjoyed the 2016 Rogue One; A Star Wars Story film and the 2015 Star Wars; The Force Awakens film, which made it easier for me to enjoy this soundtrack. However, a person who enjoys music scores and who has not yet seen the 2016 film may still enjoy this collection because of the versatility of the tracks on this soundtrack.

5.0 out of 5 stars If You Have An Interest in Seeing the Jackie FilmDecember 18, 2016
The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack of Jackie contains tracks that are of a background music type of quality while still being relaxing. One must have an open mind to the type of music that they are willing to listen to in order to get this soundtrack; due to the somber music tone that starts off in the Intro track (even the Credits track also ends on a more dramatic tone). I admit that I got this soundtrack as a natural progression to following some information on Jacqueline Kennedy’s life story for some time. I had watched an Amazon documentary on one of her late husbands titled JFK’s Women The Scandals Revealed back around July 19, 2016. I had also purchased a magazine titled Globe Collector’s Issue labeled; Jackie Her Secret Life & Loves: 20 Years After Her Tragic Death back in July 2014 (it can also be found on Amazon under the search Globe Collector’s Issue Jackie: 20 Years After Her Tragic Death).

This review is from: War Dogs (Amazon Video)
The film War Dogs staring Jonah Hill as Efraim Diveroli and Miles Teller as David Packouz took me by surprise in multiple ways. For starters, I only realized (until watching the film) that it cost at least $17,500 dollars to outfit at least one U.S. soldier in Iraq after watching the film. The movie also gave a glimpse into how the job of a U.S. government contracting specialist ties into the business of what the two men were building together. The movie is narrated from what appears to be the point of view of Packouz as he describes what is happening and how it even affects the life of the woman he loves (Iz played by Ana de Armas) and his daughter. Packouz also narrates how the character of Ralph Slutzky (played by Kevin Pollak) came to be a part of their business. Bradley Cooper appears in part of the movie as Henry Girard, both a mysterious and very dangerous man who is even on a terrorism watch list. Various songs are played throughout the movie; Don’t Fear The Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult, Jump Around by House of Pain, So What Cha Want by the Beastie Boys, Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith, Bojangles by Pitbull, What is Love by Hardaway.

5.0 out of 5 stars Life Or Death OutcomeDecember 18, 2016

The Finest Hours film had heartfelt performances involving life or death situations and based on a true story (involving the U.S. Coast Guard). Chris Pine stars as Boatswain’s Mate First Class Bernie Webber and Holliday Grainger plays Miriam Webber (a woman that Bernie Webber is engaged to be married to). Webber, along with some other men, are sent out on a dangerous mission to try to save some men on a Coast Guard ship before it completely plunges in the water. Various other actors/actresses are featured in this film as well because the movie shows various men trying to work together to buy themselves time before their ship goes under. Viewers of this film are also going to get a glimpse inside the mind of some of Webber’s coworkers (due to a scene where Webber’s fiancé comes up to his job to see how he is doing and is told by some of her fiancée’s coworkers what he might be facing).

I confess that I was intrigued with purchasing this Globe Collector’s Issue of Jackie: 20 Years After Her Tragic Death after spotting it in one of the magazine racks at my Walmart job. I bought this issue on July 5th (the price was $5.99 for this single issue before my employee discount). Anyhow, this issue contains some very juicy details of the late Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy’s life such as:
Page 24: Jacqueline Kennedy was aware of JFK’s affairs and had a feeling that her husband would stay married to her. Additionally, she was known to have wit, charm, and a sense of humor. It is listed that her and Queen Elizabeth had a chat about their passion for horses back in 1961.
Pages 26-27: Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy’s father in law Joe became a wealthy businessman through real estate, the stock market, and being one of the only legal importers of Gordon’s Gin and Dewar’s Scotch. Apparently, it is listed that Joe heard the rumors of JFK’s affairs and believed that wives need to put up with that stuff (husbands having mistresses). However, according to this magazine issue, Joe did not want to risk her leaving his son before the 1960 election and is said to have carefully paid off Jackie one million dollars for sticking by JFK’s side throughout the campaign trail (it is written that the one million dollars was actually a drop in the bucket of his immense wealth).
Pages 54-55:Jacqueline Kennedy married into a life of great opulence when she became the wife of Ari Onassis (he was estimated to be worth 4 billion dollars at the time of his death). However, both of her second husband’s children were said to not be the most comfortable with her as their father’s new wife. Naturally, it was because they had hoped that their father would have remarried their mother Tina Livanos. Despite this tension, Ari Onassis had great love and patience for her. However, it is listed that Ari Onassis went back into the arms of his previous mistress (opera star Maria Callas) after he found a love letter that his wife (the late Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy) wrote to her former beau (attorney Roswell Gilpatric). He died a short time later and Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy inherited 26 million dollars after his passing. Onassis’s daughter Christina went to court in vain to try to keep Jacqueline Kennedy from obtaining the 26 million dollars. Jackie’s business advisor and later lover Maurice Templesman helped Jackie to transform the 26 million dollars into a several hundred million dollar fortune. However, in later pages, it is written that Templesman stayed married to his wife while keeping Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy as his lover.
Pages 56-65: Frank Sinatra, Warren Beatty, movie mogul Michael Cacoyannis, New York writer and newsman Pete Hamill, 70’s Washington D.C. social king Alejandro Orfila, and American Ballet Company artist John Kriza are known to be among the multiple lovers that Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy had as she got older.

on July 19, 2016
One reason why I feel comfortable admitting on why this documentary of JFK’s Women: The Scandals Revealed caught my attention is due to the infamy vibe of the stories mentioned that would also help me in my writings for ideas towards an added edge andor controversy. This documentary covers some of the women that were linked to JFK who were discussed to have dangerous ties that could have shook up the foundations of U.S. government security such as Ellen Rometsch. Even during JFK’s earlier days as a young officer in the U.S. Navy he had his own father (Joseph P. Kennedy) concerned about what he was doing (in his personal life) after John F. Kennedy was linked with journalist Inga Arvad. Arvad was mentioned to have even moved away from the Washington D.C. area to follow John F. Kennedy to one of his military assignments, plus more details of other mistresses in this documentary such as the well-known connection to Marilyn Monroe. My husband noticed me watching this documentary and I could not help but ask his take on if he thought Monroe’s heartbreak over Kennedy killed her. He persuasively convinced me that even though heartbreak seems like the culprit that it might have actually been Monroe’s sorrow at how her career life was going that may have contributed to an early death. I was convinced of this possibility because it is common knowledge that career setbacks (before achieving career triumphs) affect men and women from different socio-economic classes in different ways (i.e. a poor person may or may not handle a career setback more easily without it affecting their longevity if they have prodigious emotional strength compared to an equally poor or richer person who may have a harder time dealing with career setbacks before career triumphs (this can obviously sometimes be vice versa).

in the last week-Edit

Saturday was when my husband and I recently went to Bobby’s Burger Palace in College Park, Maryland. Both the cashier and the server were friendly with my husband and I. My husband got the Bobby Blue burger yesterday with plain fries and he was pleased with the order. As for me, I got the Bobby’s Bruch burger and onion rings (which tasted delicious).

My husband and I decided to take a chance on eating at Pupuseria Irene’s today because it is super close to where we live. Plus, this was our first time of eating there after having lived in Hyattsville, Maryland for well over 6 years. Anyhow, my husband ordered the steak fajita and I chose a corn tamale, plantains, and a pork and cheese pupusa. My husband was satisfied with his steak fajita. As for me, the corn tamale tasted differently than what I expected and I did not finish it (I should have considered my husband’s suggestion to get the chicken tamale instead). However, the fried plaintains and the pork and cheese pupusa tasted good (the orange reddish sauce that was included with the order tasted good too).

I'm extremely proud to be an American born female. I was also brought up to understand and see that there is beauty in all races and skin complexions. However, being part Puerto-Rican and Menominee Indian (a native American tribe originating in Wisconsin) it is good to see a female from Puerto Rico being recognized for her beauty.
