Anyhow, the author delves into such areas as avoiding the temptation to keep stories perfect, i.e. allowing the characters to have at least some conflict, inconvenience etc. (which I admit that I am in the process of working through). He also implies why mental strength is important when taking into account constructive criticism. Lindstrom also gives important guidance to accept that sometimes the harshest critics and judgers in a writer’s journey are those that have not yet allowed themselves the same avenues to publicly express themselves and are sometimes prone to pass harsh judgment on your writings. Lindstrom makes a persuasive point that this is especially the case if you have dared to express yourself publicly through your writings before they allowed themselves to.  Comment | Permalink

The documentary showed how she was both a popular person and considered an intellectually brilliant and charismatic woman during her leadership reign. However, the way she comes into her position is not without controversy either, not to mention her love life that was very shocking for the time period in which she lived in. I was discussing some of the documentary with my husband to get a feel of what he thought.
